Satan Is A Liar

Matthew 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

In the 15th Chapter of Matthew, we read where a woman approached Jesus on behalf of her daughter. The New Testament Greek translation reads: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

The actual Greek word for “vexed with a devil” is daimonizomai and it has several definitions. It refers to various degrees of demonic power ministering to a person. It ranges from being bothered, troubled, and harassed all the way to being tormented, oppressed and totally possessed.

Needless to say, when a person is vexed with a devil, it affects their ability to function normally in their everyday life. Millions of believers are sitting in churches every week grievously vexed with a devil. The enemy is tormenting them and they come to Church in search of help, but seldom do they find any.

Satan has a huge army of fallen angels, demons, and evil spirits that he sends out to attack God’s people. Never forget that Satan is a liar and everything he instructs his demon spirits to speak to you is also a lie. They are not capable of speaking the truth. Jesus called him the father of lies. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the Truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Any words you hear in your head that do not 100% line up with the Word of God, are lies from the devil. Please think about that for a minute. I repeat, Any words you hear in your head that do not 100% line up with the Word of God, are lies from the devil.

What are you hearing and are you holding it up to the Standard of the Word of God? You will never know if those words in your head agree with the Word of God if you don’t know what the Word of God says! We are all responsible to study and learn the Word of God for ourselves. I cannot learn it for you and you cannot learn it for me. The Apostle Paul wrote this to young Timothy. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly diving the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Every attack of the enemy begins with a thought. He attacks our minds with lies and then continues to send more and more demon spirits to join in on the attack. He also uses oppressed and possessed people to attack us. This is how Satan gets us down but when we know who he is and how he operates, we can simply rebuke him in the Name of Jesus and cast him out of our lives.

When we rebuke that first lie he plants in our head, he will flee for a time and we have won that battle. In the old western movies, the cowboy said, “Let’s head him off at the pass, boys!” That means to get to him before he gets to you and beat him at his own game. We can do this and over the next several days we are going to learn how!

You don’t have to spend another Christmas in the spiritual dumps! It’s time to be set free from Satan’s demonic oppression. Hold on, Joy comes in the morning!

God is about to……….turn the tide……..in your life.

In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, Doreen
