Seek And Speak
January 7, 2023, 3:00 AM

Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of His Glory and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His Power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the Right Hand of the Majesty on high,

This morning the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said: The more you seek and the more you speak, the more I will allow you to see.

The Word of God is filled with examples of people who sought after God and therefore, were allowed to see great Miracles, Signs, and Wonders. I believe this is what God wants for all of us but it is up to us to seek after more and be bold to speak to others about Jesus and the Goodness of God.

For the past few days, we have been studying about Stephen. The people saw something in him because they included him among the seven first Deacons of the Church. However, God had far more than that for this young man. The people named Stephen a Deacon but God Called Him an Evangelist and a Martyr for Christ.

Stephen knew it and he sought after everything God had for him. He didn’t care what the high council said or did, Stephen still preached the Truth. He did this not in defiance to them but in an attempt to see them come to repentance and be saved from the Law and the demonic spirit of religion that held them all in bondage.

Stephen literally gave his life for the Gospel of Christ. He stood before the highest council of the land and boldly reminded them of their history and of the Messiah whom they had murdered. He called them out for what they were, knowing full well that they would kill him. (Acts 7:52-53)

Stephen did not live a long life but he lived his life for Jesus and he was willing to be stoned to death for the Gospel of Christ. He sought after the things of God and he was bold to speak the Words of Christ. His words were seeds of Truth planted in the hearts of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Sanhedrin.

Stephen died doing what he was Called to do: Preach the Truth of the Gospel of Christ. However, before he died, God allowed him to see something few people ever see. And said, “Behold, I see the Heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the Right Hand of God.” (Acts 7:56)

I opened this Morning Message with the Words the Holy Spirit spoke this morning: The more you seek and the more you speak, the more I will allow you to see. I believe this to be absolutely true in the life of Stephen and many others! Therefore, I will seek more and speak more because I believe God will allow me to see more.

There’s always more of God. Seek more. Speak more and He will allow you to see more. Don’t wait another day.

God just might…..…….turn the tide……..today!

Seeking and speaking more!         Doreen
