John 17:15-17 I pray not that You should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through Your Truth: Your Word is Truth.

 

This Passage of Scripture is a portion of Jesus’ prayer on behalf of Christians. This is His prayer for you and me. He didn't ask to take us out of the world but to keep us from evil because we are not of the world. Rather, we are born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are like Him and are not of the world. Jesus prayed that God would sanctify us through His Word, which is Truth.

 

The Word of God does not just contain Truth, it IS TRUTH! Jesus declared Himself to be Truth. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6) Jesus and the Word are one and the same. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14)

 

The Word of God is the single most important thing on earth. It is Truth; the ONLY source of Truth. This is why the enemy has worked so hard to destroy it and continues to do so. Ever since the Word of God was closed in the schools of America, our society has gone straight downhill. This happened in 1963 and it is quite apparent how the enemy has brought destruction to America since that time.

 

Because the Truth (the Word of God) has been closed, Americans have bought into the lies of Satan. He is the master of disguise and extremely tricky and convincing. I would venture to say that most Americans today (even those proclaiming to be Christians) do not believe the Bible to be the ONLY source of Truth on earth. Most don’t read the Bible, let alone live by it.

 

What we see in America today is a direct result of God’s people not taking a stand for the Word of God and the Name of Jesus. The apathy of the Church as a whole has allowed the enemy to have a stronghold on our country. Church has always been the strength of the United States. When the Church was strong, our country was strong. However, as the Church has weakened, our country has weakened. No matter what the media and pundits say, America, as a nation, is only as strong as the Church, and the Church is God's.

 

If true American History was taught, Americans would know the strength of our people is in their respect and reverence for God and His Word. I implore you to educate yourself and your family and friends to the Truth of the Word of God and our American Heritage and History.

God said, My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge: because you have rejected, I will also reject you, America has always been a nation of God's people. If we don't have the Knowledge of God and stand for the Word of God, He will reject us and give us over to the enemy. The fate of our nation is in our own hands. What are you willing to do for God and your country?
