Take Heed

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

In the year 45 A.D., the Holy Spirit moved the headquarters of the Church from Jerusalem to Antioch where He put certain Prophets and Teachers in place to take the Gospel of Christ throughout the region. Now there were in the Church that was at Antioch certain Prophets and Teachers as Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the Tetrarch, and Saul. (Acts 13:1) He moved in the lives of these chosen men just as He had done for centuries before in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and all the other Prophets of Old.

This was, and continues to be, the Work of the Holy Spirit in conjunction and in total agreement with the Ministry and Words of Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God has not changed from that day until now. He is the same and will remain the same. He called and used Prophets and Teachers then and He still does today.

The point I want to make today is very important because there are many false teachings in the Church today that proclaim that one person can “teach” another person to be a Prophet, Apostle, Pastor, Evangelist, or Pastor. This is not possible because God is the imparter of such Callings and it is He who does the Teaching.

Worse than this, there are ministries out there today that sell such titles and positions. The more money you are willing to spend, the greater position and title you can purchase and they will “teach” you how to operate in that position. This, my friends, is an abomination! Nothing of God can be bought and sold. Never are we to seek monetary gain from ministry. On the contrary, we are called to surrender all we have to the Ministry and walk in faith believing God will Bless us because of it.

The Apostle John wrote about this in his Book we know as 1 John. But the Anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same Anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)

Jesus taught us to Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15) Anyone who conducts their “ministry” as a for-profit business is not Anointed of God and falls into the category of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The great Apostle Paul warned us not to be ignorant of the enemy’s devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11) He also warned us about the love of money. (1 Timothy 6:10) Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets. (Matthew 7:15) Luke recalled the Words of Jesus and wrote Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among me is an abomination in the sight of God. (Luke 16:14-15)

God says what He means and He means what He says. Take heed. Read the Word of God. Time is short.

He is about to……….turn the tide……….in this world!

I love you,         Doreen
