The Last Of The Last Days
June 19, 2022, 3:00 AM

Acts 4:15-16 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, “What shall we do to these men? For indeed, that a notable Miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

Peter and John stood before the Sanhedrin and spoke boldly of the Power of the Holy Spirit through faith in the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thousands of Jews had converted to Christianity and now a crippled beggar had been healed. The word of this Miracle had spread like wildfire throughout Jerusalem. Everyone knew what happened and the Healed man was standing right there in front of the court too! What were they to do now? That was the question.

They all knew it was the Power of the Holy Spirit Who had performed this incredible Miracle. They knew Jesus was the Messiah and they knew they had killed Him. The guilt was mounding upon them personally but as a group but they couldn’t back down now, their power and position was at stake.

In actuality, what was at stake was their control over the people. These men and the Pharisees had the people trained like pet pigs and Jesus and His followers were disrupting everything. They met by themselves in an attempt to come up with an answer.

Can you see that this is exactly what is happening today in the Church. The leaders of the big denominations are dictating to their people what they can believe and what they can’t. They are telling them to totally discount the Power and Work of the Holy Spirit in their churches. They are denying the Power of God to protect their own position of power in their denomination. These few people get together and make the “rules” for the entire denomination and anyone who goes against them is excommunicated.

The Last Days began when Jesus Ascended into Heaven. For the past almost 2,000 years we have been in the Last Days. The Apostle Paul described to Timothy what it would be like in the Last Days and with every passing year, it seems we are getting closer and closer to that Day when Jesus will come to Rapture His Church. But know this, that in the Last Days, perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying it’s Power. And from such people turn away (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

From this Passage of Scripture, it is evident that we are living in the last of the Last Days. Please get right with the Lord and get your house in order.

Jesus is coming to….….turn the tide
