The Plan
January 22, 2022, 3:00 AM

Romans 8:1 There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

The entire Bible is the story of Jesus Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus is our Source of all Blessings we receive from the Father. He is our Way to God; a Bridge, if you will. We have all seen the picture of two cliffs over a deep ravine. On one cliff we see God. On the other cliff, we see man. The ravine is sin that separates man from God. Bridged across the ravine of sin is Jesus and through our faith in Him, we can reach God. Jesus said this when He made this statement: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6)

While Jesus is our Way to the Father, the Holy Spirit is the Power to draw us and change us into the person God created us to be. We have studied about the Trinity: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit which are the Three Persons of the Godhead. While they are each individual and distinct Persons, they are of the same Mind and work together at all times for our good.

God the Father is the Creator. He created us and has a Plan and a Purpose for our lives. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.(Jeremiah 29:11) God has a Plan.

Jesus went to the Cross at Calvary so God’s Plan can become manifest in our lives. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6) Jesus is our source of everything God has planned for us. Without Him, we will have nothing of God.

The Holy Spirit is the Power of God to cause God’s plan for our lives to come to fruition. When we give ourselves over to the Holy Spirit, He will Teach us what we need to learn, Guide us along our way in life, Counsel us through our times of confusion and despair and Convict us of our wrongdoing. The key to living for God is to give up trying to make things happen ourselves and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. then, So those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:5-8)

To summarize this Morning Message: 1. God has a Plan. 2. Jesus is the Door to His Plan. 3. The Holy Spirit is the Power to make the Plan come to fruition. Sounds easy, doesn’t it: 1, 2, 3. Yes, it sounds easy, but it is not all that easy because, in order for it to happen, we have to totally surrender our lives over to Him and totally trust Them. Them? Yes, Them: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Do you trust Them? All Three of Them?

Trust Them and They will……….turn the tide……..in your life.

Trusting all Three of Them,         Doreen
