John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

During the time of Jesus’ Ministry on earth, His followers saw Him as a Rabbi. They called Him Rabbi many times. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” (John 3:2)There are fourteen Passages of Scripture where Jesus is called Rabbi.

In those days a Rabbi was a teacher. Most people could not read or write so they depended upon the Rabbi to teach them. The word Rabbi actually means teacher in Hebrew. The Rabbi’s main job was to teach the people about God and the Prophecies. The people saw Jesus as a Rabbi and called Him Rabbi because He was a Teacher.

Jesus’ Disciples (and thousands of others) sat under His Teaching and were amazed by Him. However, In the 14th Chapter of John we read where Jesus told them that He would be leaving them. Their Teacher was going away but He would not leave them without a replacement. This replacement was the Holy Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit would come to them in a different form. Jesus was with them in the natural and in the spiritual. The Holy Spirit would be strictly spiritual in nature. They could not see Him or fellowship with Him as they did Jesus. But, Jesus told them that the Holy Spirit would never leave them because He would actually dwell inside them. He would be their source of education; higher education.

It is the same with all believers today. All followers of Jesus have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them to Teach them and remind them of what Jesus said when He Ministered on earth. Unfortunately, many people totally discount the Work of the Holy Spirit. Some believe that He is not in operation today. These people are sadly mistaken and are robbing themselves of their Higher Education.

If you are a believer in the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, the Holy Spirit is alive and living inside of you. He is that still small voice you hear at night. He is that directional force that leads you to do something or speak to someone. He is God inside you!

You have access to the greatest Teacher in the universe. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26) Welcome Him and be willing to sit under His Teaching.

The Teaching of the Holy Spirit will……….turn the tide……….in your life.

With the Teacher.         Doreen
