Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
There is nothing in this world more important than the Word of God. It’s amazing that the enemy knows this but believers don’t seem to care. Satan and his followers have worked hard to have the Word of God removed from every aspect of our society and they have succeeded because the Church has just stood by and watched.
America and the other Christian nations of the world are in bad shape because of the apathy of the Church. In the 1960’s the effort to take the Bible and Prayer out of schools in America was underway. It succeeded because the Church did not stand. We stand on the brink of losing all our freedoms today because of this.
There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God. Think about that for a moment. What is the Word of God? It is exactly what it says it is. It is the actual WORDS of GOD; the Creator of the universe. His Word is not only worth speaking, it is worth defending.
Everything the Word of God says either has come to pass or will come to pass. That is something you can stand on. His Word must be freely spoken again. God does not speak empty words like politicians and professors. God’s Words are Truth and they will come to pass. So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)
The Word of God will accomplish what God wants but it must be read and received. It must be spoken. Are you reading the Word of God? Are you speaking the Word of God? Are you teaching the Word of God? If not, I suggest you start today. Turn off the radio, television and all the fake news and read the Truth of the Word of God. You will be better for it and as you share it with your family, they will be better too.
God loves you. He wants the very best for you. His Word will direct your path into Righteousness. And remember, Jesus is the Word made flesh. He is the actual living, breathing form of the Word of God. His Words are God’s Words. His Actions are God’s Words put into action.
I challenge you to get up 15 minutes earlier tomorrow every morning and read God’s Word. I challenge you to do this every day. Will you do it? Will you accept this challenge?
The Word of God will……….turn the tide……..in your life.
