There Must Be Change

Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.

What the above Verse of Scripture is actually saying is that we are to continually give praise to God by speaking the Name of Jesus and giving Him all the glory and credit for everything.

Christianity is not a religion like Buddhism or Hinduism, it is a lifestyle based on faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. It is a belief system that rules and reigns in every fiber of our being at all times. That is what it means to be a born-again Christian.

For the Christian, all roads lead to the Cross of Calvary and all benefits come from what Jesus accomplished there that day some 2,000 years ago. If you don’t believe that, you are not saved. It’s time we stopped playing church.

Jesus is coming back for His Bride and if we want to be taken up in the Rapture, we must be truly born again. Jesus made this perfectly clear when He said, Most assuredly, I say unto you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

To be born again is to be totally changed by the Power of God. It means you are no longer the same person you used to be. If there is no change for the better in a person, they are not saved. God changes people. That’s what He does. We are all born into this world filled with sin and evil desires. When we are born again, we are born into the Kingdom of God and the Holy Spirit changes us giving us new desires. This is a life-long process called Sanctification.

While we are alive on this earth and living as born-again believers in Christ, given what He has done for us, it is reasonable that we continually give Jesus praise and glory. It is He who willingly went to the Cross to pay our debt to God. It is He who suffered the whipping with the cat-o-nine-tails. He did all this so we can be saved and spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Jesus paid the price with His Life for your soul. Is that not worthy of your continual praise? Is that not worthy of telling everyone you know about Him? It is the Will of the Father in Heaven for everyone to be saved and born again. Jesus paid the price for every single person on earth. No one was excluded. It doesn’t matter what they have done in the past. God loves them and Jesus died for them.

When the Name of Jesus is spoken, the Holy Spirit draws people to faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary and to repentance. When they respond to that drawing and believe what Jesus did for them and ask God to forgive them, instantly, they are saved!

It’s all about Jesus. When His Name is spoken and the Truth of the Gospel of Christ is preached, the Holy Spirit will draw people to God. Jesus said, And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself. (John 12:32)

Faith in Christ Crucified will….….turn the tide ……….in your life.
