Time to Dig

Ezekiel 8:6 Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”

Yesterday we began a study on Ezekiel 8 and made note of the fact that this vision was given to Ezekiel on day 6 6 5 which is one day short of 6 6 6, the number God assigned to the Antichrist.

We discussed how God drug Ezekiel by the hair of his head and showed him that jealousy was standing in front of the Brazen Altar of God. As bad as that was, God was about to show him even greater abominations. Verse 7-8 So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.

The “door” is a symbol of Christ, the only Way to the Father. In the vision, the Door was blocked by a wall. There was a hole in the wall indicating a narrow access to the Door but Ezekiel would have to “dig” through the wall to find it.

Just as God showed Ezekiel the hole in the wall (which indicated the place to dig) where he would find the Door, so are we to lead the lost to the place of Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance. That place is the Cross of Christ; the Narrow Gate; the Way. Jesus said, narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

In today’s world, Jesus, who is the “Door” to the Father, is blocked and buried by the walls of the world. People are seeking god but all they do is run into walls.  The walls are thick and most people are left on their own to try to find the hole in the wall.

Those who are taught, are receiving instructions that are not precise, so while they may tap around on the walls, they never really find access to the Door. Some find the hole but don’t have the stamina, courage, or determination to dig deep enough to find the True Door.

God wants us all to find the “hole” in the wall and have the courage, stamina, and determination to dig our way through to the “Door.” Sometimes He has to drag us by the hair of our head and place us right in front of the “hole” in the wall and say, “Son of man, dig into the wall.”

Time is short.  I believe we are living in day 6 6 5. One day before day 6 6 6; the day of the Antichrist. It’s time to DIG!  Dig with all your might. Whatever it takes, FIND  THAT  DOOR!

The True Door will……..turn the tide

Hallelujah!      Doreen
