Tomorrow May Be Too Late

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for Judgment to begin at the House of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God?

For the past two days, we have been discussing the Judgment of God on the Nation of Israel for the murder of His Son, Jesus Christ, on the Cross of Calvary. His Judgment came down on every Jew in the nation, not just the rulers and leaders who made the decision and those who actually whipped Jesus and nailed Him to the Cross. All of Israel was held accountable for this which was, without a doubt, the most heinous sin in all of history.

Yesterday, we also noted that not a single Christian was killed or hurt when all of Jerusalem came down. Millions of Jews died in the carnage and the lifestyle of every Jew was negatively affected in some way, but not one believer in Christ perished; NOT ONE!

This happened in the year 70 A.D. It was 37 years after the Crucifixion of Christ. Most, if not all of the Believers at that time were Jews themselves, and yet they were all spared any harm. All those millions of Jews who were killed were not personally responsible for the death of God’s Son but they were responsible for their own actions.

They all had heard about Jesus. Most of them had seen Him in person and listened to Him Teach and Preach. They knew someone who He had Healed or cast a Demon out of. They all knew about Jesus and they all had the opportunity to repent. God gave them 37 years to repent and give their hearts to Jesus.

All those Jews who did believe in Jesus (and it was thousands by the year 70 A.D.) were spared because they turned from their wicked ways and joined the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who did not, suffered the Judgment of God and millions were killed.

All God asks of us is to believe in His Son Jesus Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross and Repent. That’s it. My friends, the Judgment of God is soon coming again. It has happened several times in history and it’s about to happen again. God gave the people 120 years to believe what Noah was saying. None did. They all perished in the flood.

The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were given a chance to repent but they didn’t either. They all burned up. Over and over throughout human history, God has repeated this same pattern. His Mercy endures forever and He always offers forgiveness to those who Repent. God has always provided a way of escape for His people.

The Word of God tells us what is soon to come. God is calling all people around the world to believe in His Son and Repent. He will offer His Forgiveness to all that do. They will be spared when the next Judgment occurs which will be the Rapture of the Church. Those who refuse will be left behind to suffer in the Great Tribulation which will be the worst the world has ever known.

Peter said, For the time has come for Judgment to begin at the House of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17) Don’t be left behind! Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ TODAY! Tomorrow may be too late.

God will soon……….turn the tide
