Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor drying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
Many people (including me) are feeling the urgency of the soon-coming Rapture of the Church. With this in mind, I am feeling led to share with you the timeline for the End Times. This study is called Eschatology and is all founded in the Holy Word of God.
The next great happening on the End Times Timeline will be the Rapture of the Church. At this time, Jesus Christ will come in the clouds to “snatch away” His Bride, which consists of every born-again believer. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trumpet. For the Trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
Paul also wrote about this in his letter to the Thessalonians. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the Voice of an Archangel, and with the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
The Rapture of the Church is imminent. Every Biblical Prophecy up until the Rapture has been fulfilled. While no one knows the exact time Jesus will be coming for His believers, it will be soon. At this time, in the twinkling of an eye (which is faster than a blink of an eye) every believer who has died will rise up out of the ground and meet Jesus in the air. Then every believer who is alive will also be taken up to be with the Lord forever! Hallelujah!
One of my favorite songs is “What a Day That Will Be.” This song was written by Jim Hill in 1955. Mr. Hill wrote the song after his mother-in-law suffered a devasting stroke when she was only 50 years old. Jim Hill was a rather new Christian at that time and he couldn’t understand why God would allow something like this to happen to a woman who loved Him so much.
One day while driving home from work, the Holy Spirit caused Jim to recall a Verse in the Bible that says And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor dying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
After pondering this Passage of Scripture, Jim thought, what a day that will be! When he arrived home he jotted down some words on a scrap of cardboard. Those words became the song What A Day That Will Be and it has been ministering Hope to millions of people since that time.
What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, and I look upon His face, the One Who saved me by His Grace; When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be.
There’ll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there; but forever I will be, with the One Who died for me, what a day, glorious day that will be.
Hope in the Lord will………..turn the tide……….in your life.
What a day that will be! Doreen
