Matthew 16:19 I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.
The Power of the Kingdom of Heaven is one of the most tremendous Benefits for all believers. Jesus said, I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. (Matthew 16:19) Do you understand that WE have been given the POWER OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN to bind and release spirits? Nowhere in the New Testament are we told to pray and ask God to bind and release them. We are to do it!
Read it once more! Jesus said, I will give YOU the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever YOU bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever YOU loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. The Power in the Kingdom of Heaven has been given to US! This Power is the same Power Jesus had to cast out demons and heal the sick.
To us has been given that same Power. What are we doing with the Power we have been given? How many in the Church today even know they have that Power? I would venture to answer that question by saying, few, if any. When we know we have Power and believe in that Power, we will use that Power and the Church today is not operating in Power.
The enemy before us today is Satan, his army of fallen angels, demons and evil spirits. We have the Power of the Kingdom of Heaven to bind, rebuke, defeat and cast out every single one of them. This is supposed to be the work of the Body of Christ. It is us who have been given this Power!
Jesus also said, Behold, I give YOU the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19) Jesus gave us the authority over all power of the enemy!
Who among us is casting out demonic spirits? Are you? Who is taking authority over the enemy and commanding them to leave in the Mighty Name of Jesus? Are you? We cannot leave this up to someone else. To YOU has been given this Authority and Power.
This is the greatest Power and Authority in the entire universe and we have it! What are we doing with what we have been given? I dare say, in most cases, nothing. Today is the day to get up, put on the whole armor of God, take up the Authority and Power Jesus gave us and go to battle! If we don’t, who will?
There is POWER, POWER, Wonder Working POWER in the Blood of the Lamb! This POWER is ours to use! God has given us everything we need for Victory and yet we are hiding in our homes and churches bound up in fear and deception. It’s pitiful! I wonder how Jesus must feel as He sits at the Right Hand of the Father and watches us hide like beat down dogs.
He suffered and died so we can have Power over the enemy and we are too afraid to use it. Well, I’m not afraid to use it and I pray you are not either. Rise up in the Authority and Power Jesus died for you to have and take command of your life; all of it! Spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, domestic………… everything! Victory is in our hands. Who will stand? Who will rise up in POWER?
When the Body of Christ rises up, God will……….turn the tide
