You Must Be Born Again

John 3:5 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

Jesus IS the New Covenant. He IS God’s Promise to the world. The Prophets of Old spoke of the coming Messiah, Who would bring about total change and Jesus IS that change. Every Promise of God is found IN Him. He declared Himself and proved Himself to be the Son of God; the Messiah the Prophets had spoken of and the world had been waiting for.

However, if Jesus had not gone to the Cross and completed the Work His Father assigned to Him, there would be no New Covenant. Jesus taught about it while He was alive. He set the example of life in the New Covenant while He was alive but it was not until He was Crucified, Buried, Risen from the dead and Ascended into Heaven, that the New Covenant took effect.

Therefore, to acquire the Abundant Life He spoke about in John 10:10, one must have faith in His Finished Work on the Cross. There are many facts about the Life and Ministry of Jesus Christ but to be a born again believer, and enter the Kingdom of God, one must have faith in His Finished Work on the Cross.

Just because someone believes Jesus was born of a virgin, lived on Earth for 33 years, performed many Miracles during that time and was crucified on a cross, DOES NOT MAKE THEM BORN AGAIN. All this is mere knowledge of historical facts in the natural.

To be born again, one must be born of the Spirit. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6) They must place their FAITH in What He accomplished on the Cross. His Finished Work brought about change in the SPIRITUAL REALM for all who choose to believe. It happened in the natural but it affects people in the spiritual and it is change in the spiritual realm that causes people to be born again.

In the 3rd Chapter of John we read where Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus about being born again. He made it very clear that unless one is born of the Spirit (born again) they will not enter the Kingdom of God. That means they are not saved. They may have knowledge of the natural facts but they have not been spiritually transformed; born again of the Spirit.

There are millions of people in this condition sitting in churches every week. They have knowledge of Jesus but they are spiritually lost. They have not been born again and they will not enter the Kingdom of God.

Being born again will.……….turn the tide………..in your life.
