Your Testimony

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.

Our study through the Book of Acts has shown us many things regarding God’s Plan for His Church. God creates each person with different talents and abilities all of which are to be used to further the Kingdom of God. God does not bless us with something to be used in the world for the benefit of Satan’s kingdom.

The Apostle Paul wrote about the Callings of God to the Ephesians. And He Himself (speaking of Jesus) gave some to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, and some Pastors and Teachers (Ephesians 4:11) Everyone is not called to be an Apostle, Prophet, or Evangelist. Nor is everyone called to be a Pastor or a Teacher BUT everyone IS called to be something in the Kingdom of God. This is our purpose for being alive! This is WHY God created us and as the Bible says in Esther 4:14, you are here for such a time as this. We are all here for such a time as this!

While everyone is not Called to be a Preacher, we are all Called to share what the Lord has done for us in our lives. This is known as our personal testimony and no one has a testimony exactly like yours. Your testimony is yours and yours alone. It is what God Almighty has done in YOUR life and when you share it with other people, you are sharing the Gospel of Christ and people will be moved to Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance. They will because the Word of God says they will! And they overcame him (Satan) by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. (Revelation 12:11)

The word of our testimony is not always pleasing to the ear. Sometimes it’s hard to hear because it has been hard to go through but no one can have a TESTimony without first having a TEST. The test is not easy to hear about but the testimony that ensues will be edifying to those who have ears to hear. But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God Who tests our hearts. For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, not a cloak for covetousness—God is witness. Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as Apostles of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 2:4-6)

Every God-given Gift and Calling is for the edification and equipping of the Saints and the growth of the Kingdom of God. For the equipping of the Saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12) To God alone be all the Glory, Honor, and Praise!

It’s time to be about the Father's business because He is about to……..….turn the tide

Just sharing my testimony,          Doreen
