John 1:5 And the Light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
As we move on to the 5th Verse of the First Chapter of the Book of John, the Lord tells us even more about the Word of God.
To recap, the Word of God has always been. It has no beginning or end. The Word has always existed, and it is God. (John 1:1)
The Godhead consists of Three Persons. We refer to this as the Trinity. Prior to the Birth of Jesus, it consisted of God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit. Together, They (the Godhead) all created the universe and everything in it. They are a Team that cannot be separated. One will NEVER contradict the other. They are Three Persons making up One God.
The Word is also Life and Light. (John 1:4) Without the Word we would surely die. There would be no Life or Light without the Word.
All natural laws and spiritual Truths were put in place in the beginning by God for His universe. One such natural law is that Light always overtakes darkness. This natural law is easily proven by simply striking a match in a dark room. The tiny light will illuminate the entire room.
This is also a Spiritual Truth. Darkness comes from the enemy, Satan. He and his dark spirits attack us with the intent to kill, steal, and totally destroy us. Jesus told us this in John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
Whenever the enemy can rob us of light and put us in darkness, he has successfully stolen from us our Peace and Joy. But Jesus went on to say, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
The Word of God is Life and Light. Darkness CANNOT overtake Light in the natural or the spiritual. Therefore, Satan CANNOT overtake the Word of God, which is the Light! With the Light of the Word of God within us, we can conquer anything the enemy throws at us!
This is all part of God's Divine Order for His Universe. As we say in Oklahoma, “Ain’t God Good!”
The Light of the Word of God will..........turn the tide
