Angels On Assignment

Psalms 91:11 For He shall give His Angels charge over you to keep you in all of your ways.

Our study through the Book of Acts has been an attempt to determine God’s Plan for His Church; the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ which we know is founded on the Doctrine of the Message of the Cross of Christ.

To this point (Chapter 8), we have found how God used His Angels in the lives of His followers. In the Church today, we hear very little about Angels. Do they still exist? Does God still use His Angels today in the same way as He did in Biblical times? The answer to both these questions is yes.

The issue is that believers today don’t consider the Work of Angels in their lives as they did back then. Those believers who believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit, attribute all supernatural Works and Words of God to the Holy Spirit, and rarely, if ever, do we hear anything about an Angel of the Lord mentioned.

In Hebrews we read, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained Angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2) According to this Verse, Angels will often appear as people to us. They will take on the appearance of a person but they do not take over the body of a person. They have their own bodies but they can appear differently as they are instructed to by God.

Sometimes we can see Angels and sometimes we can’t. This is all part of God’s Plan to Guide, Guard, Direct, Help, and Speak to us in our daily lives. Angels are God’s Messengers and there are literally trillions of them. The exact number, no one really knows but we read in the Book of Revelation And I beheld, and I heard the Voice of many Angels round about the Throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. (Revelation 5:11)

Just as God allowed John to see these Angels, He allows us to see them too at times. Never discount God’s ability to use Angels in your life. They are His Angelic Work Force and they are here on Divine Assignment by God and not people. We do not have the power to command or assign Angels. We are to pray to God in faith for help and He will assign His Angels as He sees fit.

When we live and act in faith in the Finished Work of the Cross of Christ, God’s Angels will be all around us, all the time. Our job is only to believe. The Angel of the Lord encamps around them who fear Him and delivers them. (Psalms 34:7)

I believe God is using His Angels to…...….turn the tide
