Romans 10:9-10 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

 

People conduct their lives based on what they believe. What do we believe? We believe that which has been proven to us. 

 

Yesterday, I shared a story with you of when I first learned about paid vacation time from work. I was about six years old at the time. At first, I didn’t believe my dad would actually be paid for not going to work for a whole week! That just didn’t make sense to me. My mother assured me he would get paid, but until it actually happened, I didn’t believe it. 

 

This experience in my young life caused me to believe in employee benefits. I realized that the employer makes the rules. He determines the benefits he wants his employees to have. The employee does not dictate to their employer what benefits they will receive. Although in the working world today, benefit packages are negotiated, in God’s world, they are not. We do not make deals with God. 

 

The Benefits available to the born-again believer are so many and great that there is no need to try to negotiate with God for more. Most people don’t understand or accept the Benefits available to them, and yet they continually ask for more.  

 

Many people believe in God, but they refuse to believe in all the Benefits that accompany their profession of faith. They believe God loves them and has forgiven them, but they don’t believe God has the Power to heal them, restore their youth, and deliver them. Why not? Why don’t people believe God and take Him at His Word? 

 

God has proven Himself over and over again, and yet, many still do not believe. This is the work of the enemy, and if we allow him to rob us of our belief, he will do it. My friends, if God said it, you can believe it. God does not lie. His Word does not lie. 

 

If you believe in God and accept the Benefits Jesus gave His Life for you to have, then you will conduct your life in such a manner. Which Benefits do you believe and accept? What part of God’s Word is true to you? 

 

God said, All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16) If God does not lie and ALL SCRIPTURE is given by Inspiration of God, then every Word is true. 

 

Therefore, every Benefit is real and available to you. God said so. Set your heart to believe. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Believe it. Speak it and conduct your life like it.

 

Belief will.........turn the tide .........in your life.
