Romans 14:17 ...the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Believers who have no righteousness, peace and joy in their lives have not accepted the Holy Spirit who is the source of all this.
In the above Passage of Scripture, the great Apostle Paul reveals to us that the Holy Spirit is the source of righteousness, peace, and joy in our lives.
Many born-again believers do not enjoy these Benefits in their everyday lives because they have not accepted the Holy Spirit of God. Some will argue that they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and that is enough. Believing in and accepting Jesus is enough to guarantee spending eternity in Heaven, but what about living the Abundant Life Jesus died for us to have here on earth?
Accepting Jesus is the Door to all the Benefits in the all-inclusive Believer’s Benefit Package, but we must be willing to accept ALL that our Heavenly Father has for the Holy Spirit and us is an enormous part of His Plan.
Jesus said, I am the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. (John 10:9) Pasture represents a place of safety and provision. Everything we need we will find in this pasture. The contentment, protection, and provision of the Shepherd lie within the boundaries of His Pasture.
Jesus is the Door or Gate to this Pasture, and the Holy Spirit is the Source of all Blessings and Benefits of the Heavenly Father. It is not wise to reject or grieve the Holy Spirit. We read in Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.
When we choose to grieve the Holy Spirit, God will be forced to fight against us just as He did the Israelites in the days of old. The Apostle Paul reminds us of this in Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
I say to you today, do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God because the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Believers who have no righteousness, peace and joy in their lives have not accepted the Holy Spirit who is the source of all this.
Acceptance of the Holy Spirit will......... turn the tide........in your life.
