Acts 10:38 How God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with Power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
When Jesus walked this earth as a man, He needed the Power of the Holy Spirit to minister to people. God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with Power, There can be no ministry without the Anointing of God through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was God in a human body. He was 100% God and 100% man at the same time. As a man, Christ needed the Holy Spirit and the Anointing of God, just as we all do. Everything Jesus did was by the Anointing and Power of the Holy Spirit, and it was all good!
He healed every disease in every person who believed in Him. All infirmity, illness, and disease is oppression by the devil who comes to kill, steal, and destroy the Body of Christ. The Anointing of God through the Power of the Holy Spirit is able to break the yoke of infirmity off every person who believes.
God wants us to trust in His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross that we may be healed from ALL oppression of the devil. Read the Words of the great Prophet Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His Stripes we are healed.
Jesus defeated the work of the devil on the Cross. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
This was the purpose for Jesus becoming a man. His Purpose was to go to the Cross. He did it to defeat sin and destroy the works of the devil. Which works of the devil did Jesus defeat? Another question would be: Which works of the devil did Jesus NOT defeat?
My friends, Jesus defeated EVERY and ALL works of the devil. This is the Victory we can walk in every day of our lives. When we entered the Pasture of Plenty through the Gate named Jesus, we entered into Victory in every sense of the word. Satan has absolutely no power over God's children.
Victory over sin is another Benefit in the Believer’s Benefit Package that often remains unknown to the believer or forgotten. Never forget the benefit of Victory over the devil. This is the Power of God freely given to you.
If you are not walking in Victory over sin in your life, get your head out of the fence and return to the Cross, where you will once again be reminded of what Jesus did for you. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
