Bible And The Qur'an

John 3:16 For God so love the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believed on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

The Holy Word of God is the Story of Jesus Christ. From the beginning to the end, it's all about Jesus. The Qur'an speaks of Jesus, but the difference is quite evident. Most Christians have no idea what the Qur'an says about Jesus. Below are some contradictory passages from both the Bible and the Qur'an.

Before you begin reading these, remember, the Bible is the Holy Word of God, every Word inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. The Qur'an was written by man to further the Nation of Islam.

God said in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believed on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Mohammed said in Sura 5:75, “Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him.”

Please take note that Muslims recognize Jesus by His Name and refer to Him as "Christ, the son of Mary." However, although they do not deny the fact that He was born of Mary, it is His Deity they deny, and it is His Deity that makes Him the Son og God and the Savior of the world!

When talking to a Muslim, they will quote the first part of this Sura and tell you they believe Christ was the son of Mary, but they will not share with you the rest of the passage that reads, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him.

A fundamental belief of Christianity is that Jesus was Crucified, buried, and raised from the dead, having overcome death and the grave.

God raised Him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. (Acts 2:24)

Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. (Mark 16:9)

It's obvious by the words of the Qur'an, Muslims do not believe this. They believe Jesus to be dead (passed away) like so many other messengers before him.

The Qur'an explains to their people what they THINK Christians believe. Sura 9:30 says, ....The Christians call "Christ the Son of God." That is a saying from their mouth; (In this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of the old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: How they are deluded from the truth.

To successfully witness to someone you must first know the source of their unbelief. Example: A person who does not believe in Creation probably believes in the theory of evolution. Knowing that, it is easy to direct them to the Truth of God's Word. If we are to witness to the Muslim people we must understand what they believe.

They have been indoctrinated with lies and that's why they respond the way they do. They need to know the Truth of the Gospel of Christ and understand that the Nation of Islam has them in bondage but the Truth shall set them free!

The Truth of the Gospel of Christ will..........turn the tide
