Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

 

The Holy Spirit gave to the Apostle Paul the Message of the Cross. Paul understood what it meant to have the Finished Work of Jesus Christ as the object of his faith. In all his letters to the various churches, he teaches this.

 

In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, he spells this out rather plainly. He understood that the old man in him was dead and a new man was alive in Christ. This is what every truly born-again believer in Jesus believes. We must put off the old man and rise up out of the grave alive in Christ!

 

Paul wrote I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) Can you make this statement and believe it with all your heart? Is the old man in you dead? Are you a totally new person transformed by the Power of the Holy Spirit due to your faith in Christ Crucified?

 

Jesus went to the Cross so you can be made new. He gave His Life so you can have Abundant Life here on earth and spend eternity with Him in Heaven. The Holy Spirit will not force you to give yourself over to Him. He is waiting for you to say yes to Him and do this on your own.

 

God has a great Plan for your life but until you give yourself over to Christ, you cannot live the Plan God has for you. Today is the day to bury the old man and take on the new. Jesus suffered and died so you don’t have to. Believe it today and place your full faith and trust in Him. He paid it all so you can have it all. Hallelujah!
