Divine Destiny

John 1:29 The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John the Baptist understood the Divine Purpose for Jesus’ life on earth. While it is absolutely true and verified that Jesus walked this earth as a man, performed countless miracles, signs, and wonders during his Life, His Purpose was to die on the Cross for the sins of the world.

Christ and the Cross cannot be separated. Every step Jesus took on this earth moved Him one step closer to the Cross; His Divine Destiny.

Seven hundred years before the Birth of Christ, the Lord gave the Prophet Isaiah the Prophecy of the Messiah who was to come, Jesus, the Lamb of God, who would one day come and be sacrificed on the Cross to take away the sin of the world! We find this amazing Prophecy in Isaiah 53.

This Redemption Plan for man was established by God before the foundation of the earth.  knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot.  He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. (1 Peter 1:18-21)

This Passage of Scripture is one that every person on earth needs to understand. Christ died for every person who has ever lived or who shall ever live. His Birth, Life, Death, Burial, and Resurrection were God’s Plan from the very start! He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Jesus was manifest (born and lived out His Destiny) for YOU! He did this so that through your belief, your faith and hope would be in God.  Not just any God, but God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus cannot be separated from the Cross, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit cannot be separated either. Together they are The One TRUE GOD, the Creator of the Universe.

Faith in the One True God will……..turn the tide
