John 8:32 And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.
Divine Healing. Is there such and thing and is it still in effect today? The Word of God says there is. The second Benefit David listed in the 103rd Psalm is Healing. He wrote: Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His Benefits. Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3)
The following is a sampling of Scriptures that speak to Divine Healing. We cannot proclaim anything without first substantiating it in the Word of God.
1 Peter 2:24 Who Himself bore our sins in His own Body on the Tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.
Jeremiah 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Psalm 41:3 The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, Anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord,
Matthew 10:1 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them Power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, give attention to My Words; Incline your ear to My Sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Deuteronomy 7:15 And the Lord will take away from you all sickness,
Psalm 107:20 He sent His Word and healed them,
Acts 4:30 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your Word, by stretching out Your Hand to heal, and that Signs and Wonders may be done through the Name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”
Luke 10:8-9 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.”
The Word of God is Truth. You can believe it. You can stand on it. It will not fail you. It will never change. It cannot be destroyed. IT IS TRUTH. Do you believe that? If so, then by reading the above Scriptures, you should understand and believe that Divine Healing is included in the Benefits of the Abundant Life Jesus gave His Life on the Cross of Calvary for us to have.
The enemy does not want us to believe in Divine Healing because if we don’t believe in it, we will not claim it for ourselves. Go back and read the Scriptures once again. The list above is a mere sampling of the Passages of Scripture that speak to Divine Healing. Do a search for yourself and before you do, ask the Lord for clear understanding of what you will find in His Word. The Holy Spirit will give you understanding. He is our Teacher.
The Word of God is Truth. Remember, Jesus IS THE WORD MADE FLESH. (John 1:14) He declared Himself to be the Way, the TRUTH and the Life. (John 14:6) The Truth is what sets us free and heals us. (John 8:32) You can believe the Word of God and you can stand on the Word of God. You can also CLAIM the Promises of the Word of God for yourself. They are yours. They belong to you. Jesus died for you to have them. You must claim them as your own. Go ahead, claim your Healing. God wants to Heal you. It comes by way of your FAITH in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross. Everything we receive from God comes by way of our faith.
