2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 

The Word of God is to be used as our standard for living. It is our “operating manual.” Christianity is not a religion, but a Personal Relationship with the Living Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. However, for the sake of drawing a comparison, allow me to say that all "religions" have writings by which they base their faith and way of life.

 

Christians have the entire Bible, the Holy Word of God. Jews have the Old Testament. Muslims have the Qur’an and Sharia Law. Buddhists have the Noble Eightfold Path. Mormons have the Book of Mormon, Jehovah’s Witnesses have several sets of writings they live by one of which is Shepherd the Flock of God. The point is, you can research any “religion” and you will find writings by which the followers are supposed to guide their life.

 

All “religions” seek eternity in heaven.  All “religions” seek to evangelize the world. All, except Islam, seek a life of peace on earth for their followers. There is nothing kind, loving, or peaceful about the Qur’an and Sharia Law. It is a religion of hate and deceit. Its goal is to destroy all infidels, which, as we discussed yesterday, are those who refuse to convert to Islam.

 

This brings to mind a question: Why do they hate Christians more than any other people?

 

Muslims hate Christians because we are polar opposites to them. Christianity is based on the Love of God, the Sacrifice of Jesus, Forgiveness of sin, Abundant life on earth, Peace, Contentment, Freedom, and Eternal Life in Heaven.

 

They hate Christians because Christianity is the only One True “Religion” on earth. They are a people of lies, so they despise the Truth. Their laws are based on hate, so they seek to destroy the Love of Christ. Their followers are held captive by their faith, so they work to destroy the Freedom found ONLY in Christianity. That’s why they hate and seek to destroy all Christians.

 

It is the demonic spirit of antichrist that powers Muslims. Those who believe and live by the Qur’an and Sharia Law hate us because Christianity threatens the very existence of the Nation of Islam. 

 

As I have pointed out so many times, What we face is a spiritual battle between the Spirit of Christ in believers and the spirit of antichrist in them. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12) 

 

The Truth of the Gospel of Christ will set a Muslim free. The spirit of antichrist knows this. Therefore, they hate us. Muslims are people for whom Jesus died. They need to know the Truth, but Jesus said, No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him. (John 6:44) Therefore, let us pray for the lost to be drawn by the Father and for all, including Muslims, to be saved and born again.

 

The Truth of the Gospel will……..turn the tide
