End Times Timeline

In His letter to the church in Thyatira, Jesus told those who stood strong against the spirit of Jezebel of their reward. Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My Works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels. (Revelation 2:24-27)

To gain a full understanding of this, we must know the Biblical Timeline of what is to come. We are currently living in the Church Age. This is a dispensation of time that began when Jesus Ascended into Heaven after His Crucifixion and Resurrection. The Church Age will come to an end when Jesus returns to Rapture His Church. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the Voice of an Archangel, and with the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

After the Rapture of the Church, the world will witness the rise of the Antichrist, who will come into power. This person will work with the false prophet to take control of the entire world promising to bring about worldwide peace but actually, he will be totally empowered by Satan. Most of the people alive on earth at that time will believe everything the Antichrist says because they do not have the Truth of the Word of God in them. The Apostle Paul referred to the Antichrist as the lawless one. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the Truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

The world will then suffer seven years of trouble which is God’s Judgment poured out on sinful humanity. This is called the Tribulation Period. Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting Righteousness, to seal up Vision and Prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. (Daniel 9:24) The second half of the Tribulation Period is called the Great Tribulation because it will be far worse for those alive on earth at that time. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21)

At the end of the Great Tribulation will come the Battle of Armageddon. This will be the greatest battle of all time and at the end, Jesus will return! This is the Second Coming of Christ and all the saints will come with Him. Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and in Righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His Head were many crowns. He had a Name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His Name is called the Word of God. And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His Mouth goes a sharp sword, that with I He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16) In this battle, the Antichrist and the false prophet are captured and thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Jesus will then judge the survivors of the tribulation. This is the Judgment of the Nations. At this time, the Gentile nations of the world will be judged according to their treatment of Israel. They will be divided into sheep nations and goat nations. All the nations will be gathered before Him and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:32) The Sheep nations will enter into the Millennial Kingdom and the goat nations will be cast into Hell.

At this time Satan will be bound and put in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. Then I saw an Angel coming down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. (Revelation 20:1-3)

With Satan in the pit, Jesus will then set up His Kingdom on Earth. This is called the Millennial Kingdom where Jerusalem will be the Capital. This Kingdom will last for a period of 1,000 years. During this time there will be total Peace and Prosperity on earth. This is also known as the Kingdom Age. We, the saints of God, will rule with Jesus during this time. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the First Resurrection. (Rapture) Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6) It is during this time that we will have a part in ruling the nations of the world in our Glorified Bodies which we receive at the time of the Rapture.

This, my friends will be our reward for standing strong against the enemy and his many demons. This is why we strive to live our lives pleasing to God. Therefore, let us heed the Words of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

Stand strong for the Word of God in these evil times. The best is yet to come!
