Luke 21:33 Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away.

 

For the past few days we have been studying about the Deity of the Word of God from the first five verses of the Book of John which reads, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was Life; and the Life was the Light of men, and the Light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

 

Within these four, short sentences, God proclaims the Deity and Power of His Word which is a Person of the Trinity. He also proclaims the natural law and Spiritual Truth that Light will always overtake darkness and that Light is the source of all Life. This is both a natural law and a Spiritual Truth set in place by God in the beginning. Both are a part of God's Divine Order for His Universe.

 

Over the past fifty to sixty years, we have watched as Satan and his world has worked to snuff out the Light and Life of the Word of God. To a certain extent he has been successful but we can rest assured this will NEVER happen! Nothing Satan can do will disrupt God’s Divine Order for His Universe. NOTHING!     

 

The Word of God will never be destroyed because the Word says so! Matthew, Mark and Luke all recorded the Words of Jesus when He said, Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away.  (Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33)

 

In our homes we have electric lights. A simple flip of a switch on the wall will release the power to the light causing it to illuminate bringing light to the dark room. Likewise, a flip of the switch will shut the light off. However, just because the light is off does not mean the power is no longer there. The power remains but someone must flip the switch. 

 

We have learned that the Power of Life and Light is in God’s Word. The Power is there. It will NEVER be destroyed. To flip the switch on His Power and bring Life and Light to your world, you must read and study His Word. Remember, the Word is a Person of the Godhead. He loves you and wants to be your personal friend. He wants to bring Life and Light to every dark corner of your world. He is more than able to do this, but it’s up to you to flip the switch. 

 

The Word is Life and Light to the dark world. Flip the switch today and allow the Life and Light of God’s Word to flood you completely; body, soul and spirit. This is part of His Divine Plan and Order for His Universe which includes your existence.   

 

The Word of God will........turn the tide
