Gift Of Grace

Ephesians 2:8 For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God:

For more than two months, we have been discussing the many Benefits available to the Christian in our Believer’s Benefit Package. Every Benefit of God comes to us as a free gift. The Price has already been paid by Jesus on the Cross. His Sacrifice that day changed history for all time, and our belief in His Sacrifice will change our lives for eternity!

The Benefit of Grace is one that we could spend an endless amount of time discussing because it is so complex and powerful.

The Grace of God is a magnificent Gift to us. God’s greatest Gift to all mankind was the Gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, without whom we would have nothing of God. No person to ever live is worthy of God’s Grace. We can never do enough good deeds or be good enough to deserve the Grace of God. It is God’s Gift to you and me, and by no means are we deserving to receive it.

However, God loves us so much that He wants us to have it! God wants us to have every Benefit and they are all made possible by the Grace of God through His Perfect Gift, His Son. Our understanding of the Grace of God will bring us to our knees in repentance and humility because we know in our hearts that we are by no means worthy to receive such a Gift.

Take a moment and consider the Apostle Paul’s complete thought here in Ephesians 2. But God, who is rich in Mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by Grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  (Ephesians 2:4-10)

This Passage of Scripture describes God's Plan and Purpose for each of us. We are His Workmanship, created by Him to do specific work for the Kingdom of God that He planned and purposed for us long before we were ever born. This is God's Calling on every life He creates. Without the Grace of God, we will never be able to step into His Calling on our lives.

The Grace of God will......... turn the tide ..........in your life.

His Grace is truly Amazing!      Doreen
