Glory To God

Acts 3:11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

As we continue to study the circumstances surrounding this Miracle, we read that the healed man held on to Peter and John. Through them, the Power in the Name of Jesus healed him and he did not want to let it go. A lifetime of pain and suffering had been removed in an instant! He had undergone a total transformation because they were willing to be used by God.

One of the greatest Benefits in our Believer’s Benefit Package is the ability to be used by God to bring about real change in the lives of others. However, we must be willing to be used. We have all been gifted in certain ways, and every Gift is intended to bring Glory to God. It doesn’t matter what the Gift is; they are ALL to be used for the Glory of God and the edification of others.

In this case, Peter spoke to the man and told him, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

Some may claim that Peter had the Gift of Healing. Maybe he did, and maybe he didn’t. What Peter did have was Faith and the willingness to speak the Name of Jesus over the man and claim for him his healing. Peter understood the Power in the Name of Jesus. He believed it and he used it.

In Matthew 17:20, we read: So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Our walk with Christ is all about faith. How much faith do you have? Little faith results in little Power. Great faith will bring about great Miracles of God. To believe or not to believe, that is the question.

Great faith will........turn the tide.......in your life and in the lives of others.

I believe!      Doreen
