Go Out Into All The World

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.”

After Jesus had been crucified, buried, and Resurrected, He appeared to hundreds of people. In the 16th Chapter of the Gospel of Mark we read that He appeared to His Disciples and commissioned them to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.”

The first word Jesus spoke was “go.” If we are to fulfill the Great Commission, we cannot sit in our buildings and wait for people to come in. We have been given orders by Jesus to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone.

Jesus set this example for us in His Ministry here on earth. He did not sit in one place and wait for people to come to Him. Rather, He went from village to village, town to town, teaching the people. Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom , and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9:35)

This is what we have been commissioned to do as well. In the church world, this is called outreach. It means to go out and reach the lost for Christ. It means to tell people about Jesus and His Love for them. It means to pray for people and expect them to be healed and set free from bondage and their burdens of life.

As we go about our daily lives, we come in contact with hundreds of people who are lost, dying, and headed for an eternity in Hell. Do we care? We should care. Jesus died for them too. Do they know that Jesus died for them? Probably not. It is our responsibility to tell them.

Tell someone about Jesus today. It might just change their life.

God wants to……..….turn the tide……….in their life.
