Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a Word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.”

 

Do you hear the Voice of God? Do you recognize His Voice? The Holy Spirit of God talks to us all the time. He is our Teacher, Counselor, and Guide through life. God wants the very best for us. He is with us and not against us and Father God dispatches the Holy Spirit to Guide us every step of the way.

 

A couple of weeks ago, I had to replace the pump in our swimming pool. We did the research and discovered that the pump we currently had was no longer made. However, the online company suggested a store where we could get another one that would be similar.

 

I called the big pool supply company in Sherman, TX (about 1 hour away) and sure enough, they had a pump that would work. The cost would be $1,200.00. I got in the car and headed that way.

 

About twenty miles into my trip I heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit say, “Go to Butlers.” Butlers is a small pool supply store where I purchase chemicals. At first, I discounted God’s instructions. I thought to myself that Butlers wouldn’t have a pool pump. They are just a small store.

 

Again I heard the Voice of God. “Go to Butlers.” Okay, what can it hurt and it’s closer than the big store. So, I got off the highway and went to Butlers. I told the young man at the counter what I needed and that they no longer made that particular pump. He answered me by saying “That’s right, they don’t but I might be able to get you one.”

 

He quickly got on the computer and within less than three minutes he found one! He would have to have it shipped from Dallas but it would be here in about three days. Here’s the good part! The cost was only $400.00!

 

God knows what we need and He wants the best for us. Listen for the Voice of God and when you hear it, obey. Do what God tells you to do. He is on your side! As the great Prophet Isaiah said, Your ears shall hear a Word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)

 

 

The Voice of God will………..turn the tide ……….in your world!
