Romans 8:2 For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of Sin and Death.

 

God’s spiritual and moral laws never change. His Moral Laws can be found in the Ten Commandments and in the Two Commandments Jesus put forth when He said, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  When we keep these Two Commandments, we will keep all Ten Commandments that the Lord gave Moses.

 

In Romans 8:2, the Word of God speaks of two Spiritual Laws: The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus and the Law of Sin and Death.

 

The great Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans and explained that the wages of sin is death, All sin leads to death. That is a Spiritual Law set in place by God Almighty, and no man or any force or power can change it. It is the Spiritual Law of Sin and Death.

 

However, God’s Redemption Plan for whosoever will believe is also a Spiritual Law that no man can change. It is the Spiritual Law of Life in Christ Jesus that guarantees forgiveness and freedom from all our sin. This is the Amazing Grace of God made possible by the Sacrificial Work of Christ on the Cross. The Apostle Paul tells us of this in Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. 

 

The moment we admit we are a sinner, repent, say “Yes” to Christ, believing in His Sacrificial Work on the Cross, and CHOOSE to walk after the Spirit, the Spiritual Law of Life and Freedom is ours! This is the Spiritual Law of Life in Christ Jesus God put in place, and it cannot be altered in any way by anyone or anything.

 

God’s Laws are set in stone. He put the Laws in place, and He stands by them. It is the Will of God that every person on earth be saved and born again, forgiven of their sins, and set free!  He arranged for this to happen. It is His Redemption Plan for all mankind. There is no reason for anyone to live burdened with guilt and condemnation. 

 

The Law of the Spirit of Life has been set in place. The Law of Sin and Death is also in place. They both stand today. You can have Life and be set free from all condemnation. God set this Plan in place for you. It’s yours for the taking. It’s FREE! Take it. You will never be the same again.
