Psalms 148:5 Let them praise the Name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass.
There is much talk today about “global warming.” The liberal mindset is that the Earth is being destroyed by people, and over time, it will be gone. Anyone who has read the Word of God knows this to be nothing more than utter foolishness.
The 148th Psalm is a Passage of Scripture that refutes the global warming theory. In 14 Verses, the Word of God explains Creation and the purpose for it all.
Praise You the Lord. Praise You the Lord from the heavens: praise Him in the heights. Praise you Him, all His Angles: praise you Him, all His Hosts. Praise you Him, sun and moon: praise Him, all you stars of light. Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the Name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the Lord from the Earth, you dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow; and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling His Word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars. Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: Kings of the Earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the Earth: Both young men and maidens: old men and children: Let them praise the Name of the Lord for His Name alone is excellent: His glory is above the Earth and Heaven. He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all His saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto Him. Praise you the Lord.
Some people love to go to the ocean and just sit on the beach. There, they watch and listen as the waves crash on the shore in perfect timing. This is part of the order God has set in place for His Earth. No matter what man does, the oceans of the world will not stop.
The trees change color in the fall of the year and lose their leaves only to leaf out in the spring as a new growth cycle begins. Nothing man can or will ever do will stop this process. This too, is part of God’s order for His Creation. The animals on Earth follow God’s order for their lives. They instinctively hunt, breed, hibernate, and keep the order God set in place for their specie. Man will never change this.
Weather patterns are all part of God’s order for His world. Man has nothing to say about what God does with the weather. He is the Master of the Wind and the Keeper of the Rain. He can shake the earth and cause the stars to fall from the sky. He is who causes volcanoes to erupt and tsunamis to form in the seas. No man can cause this or stop it.
People are also part of God’s Creation. Some things about ourselves we can never change. We are what God created us to be. However, God gave man free will to believe, accept, and worship Him. We can choose whether or not to do so. Anyone who tries to change that which God has set in place is foolish indeed.
All things were and are created to worship their Creator. That includes you and me. This is our purpose. His Mercy is great, and every morning He gives us another day to be about His business and give Him praise! Worship your Creator today and give Him Praise for who He is!
