God's Order Stands

1 Peter 3:7  Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the Grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

When people conduct their lives in accordance with God’s Plan and Order, they will enjoy peace and harmony in their homes. This does not mean they will never face problems or encounter storms in life, but the Peace that passes understanding will prevail and see them through. On the other hand, when families get out of God's Order, everything begins to fall apart.

The divorce rate in America is well over 50%. When we look back over the past seventy years, we have watched this rate increase. The world will ask why this is happening and try to analyze the situation, but the answer is easily found in God’s Word.

God set in place His Order for happy, content homes and families, and it’s all readily available for anyone who chooses to read it. The fact is, well over 50% of families in America today are not in accordance with God’s Plan and Order for their lives. That is why over 50% of marriages end in divorce or the couple living apart, estranged from one another.

Like it or not, God’s Order stands. God's Plan is for the husband to be the head of the house. He is to love and honor his wife as Christ loves the Church. A husband's responsibilities include providing for his family and seeking God every step of the way so he may set a Godly example for his children and the other men God places in his path.

Many Christian husbands wonder why their prayers are not being answered. The Holy Spirit gave us the answer to this question through Peter when he wrote, Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the Grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

Husbands, do you feel that your prayers are being hindered by something? Are you swimming upstream, against the current in your marriage and home? If so, take time to consider the condition of your home. Seek out God’s Plan and Order for marriage and family. Get your house in Order and your prayers will not be hindered. That is a Promise of God to you and for you.

Every Promise of God is conditional. He absolutely will keep His Promise when we get our lives in Order. There is no time like the present to begin!

God’s Order will........turn the tide

God is so AWESOME!      Doreen
