Psalm 56:8 You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your Book?
God knows everything! He knows every word we speak, every thought we think, every step we take, and our motives for taking them. God knows us better than we know ourselves.
I would venture to say that most people do not have a clue about the Power of God and His ability. If we did, we would trust Him with every concern we have: spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, political, environmental………every concern.
Consider these things: Do you know how many hairs you have on your head? God does. Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Do you know how many stars are in the sky? God does. Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.
Do you know every word you are going to speak? God does. Psalm 139:4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
Do you know how many days you will live? God does. Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Do you know how many tears you have shed? God does. Psalm 56:8 You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle;
If God knows all this and more, why don’t we trust Him in every situation? He wants us to trust Him. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding.
God is on our side. He loves us. He wants us to love Him enough to trust Him implicitly. His ways are not our ways. He can do what we cannot do. He is able. With Him, all things are possible. Jesus saidthat with faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains.
We must learn to place our faith in God; Who He is; What He has done; What He said and What He says He will do. God will never leave us or forsake us. His love never fails. He never gives up on us. His Word is Truth. We can trust Him.
Only God can……...turn the tide
