Isaiah 49:15-16 Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the Palms of My Hands.
God knows you by your name. Your name is written on the Palm of God’s Hand. Just as a mother can never forget her nursing child, God will never forget you. You are His. Created by Him for His Purpose.
Once saved, our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. This guarantees our entrance into Heaven for eternity if we remain steadfast in Him. No person will ever be perfect, but God knows our motives and intentions. He knows our names, and He also knows our true hearts. When we live fully surrendered to Him and place our faith in the Cross of Calvary, believing that all things are possible because of Jesus’ Sacrifice, our eternity in Heaven is secure. Praise God!
Yesterday, we discussed what God knows, and we found that He knows absolutely everything about everything. He is so awesome!
Think about this for just a minute; God knows the name of every person who has ever lived or will ever live. He not only knows our name, but He knows everything about us. He knows the number of hairs on our heads. He knows every word we speak before we speak it. He cares enough about us to catch every tear we have ever shed and keep them all in a bottle. He knows the number of days we will live on this earth.
Have you ever forgotten someone’s name? God hasn’t. His Word promises that He will never forget us; any of us. He said, But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the Palms of My Hands.
People forget us. They delete us from their friend list on facebook as other people become more important than we are. Friends we once knew quite well don’t care about us anymore. People come and go in our lives, but God is that True and forever loyal Friend who will never leave us.
Understand today that God will NEVER FORGET YOU! He is your PERSONAL companion. He is with you every moment of every day. He knows everything, and He is with you all the time. With such a resource at our beck and call, it’s amazing how many people pay no attention to Him, let alone seek His guidance, knowledge, and wisdom.
God wants the best for every one of us. We are His Creation; His children. He loves us so much, He sent His only Son to die on the Cross of Calvary so we can enjoy an abundant life here on earth and spend eternity in Heaven with Him. What more could we ask for?
