Revelation 3:22 He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.

Many theologians have written commentaries on the Word of God. Some are not very good. Some are good and some are very, very good. Commentaries help us to understand what the text really means. In some cases, a commentary is not necessary. A perfect example of this would be the Book of Proverbs.

On the other hand, the Book of Revelation can be very difficult to understand. However, the 2nd and 3rd Chapters of Revelation contain the letters written by Jesus to the Seven Churches. These are clear, to the point, and easy to understand.

Below is Jesus’ letter to the Church at Laodicea. This is His last letter sent to the 7th Church. Many theologians believe (and I agree) that the Laodicean Church is a depiction of the last Church before the Rapture. The number seven is always representative of completion. Therefore, the seventh letter sent to the seventh Church would be indicative of the soon completion of the Church Age.

And to the Angel of the Church of the Laodiceans write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or not. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on My Throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne.” He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches. (Revelation 3:14-22)

I trust you understand what you just read. If you are not on fire for Jesus, I suggest you get on fire! God means what He says. He loves us and He rebukes and corrects those He loves. We would be wise to obey His Word, repent of our sins, and live for Him every minute of every day.

If you have an ear, hear.

God is about to……..….turn the tide...........in this world!

Thank you Lord!         Doreen
