Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Jesus came for all those who were (and are) spiritually lost, dying, and headed for eternity in Hell. He loves us in our “lost” condition. He loves us while we are still sinners. He loves us no matter what. He died so that every person would have the opportunity to know Him and accept Him as their personal Savior. This personal relationship guarantees all believers Eternal Life in Heaven.
The Bible refers to unbelievers as “lost,” “dying,” “unrighteous," or “sick.” NEVER does the Bible say spiritually lost people are without hope. As long as there is breath in their body, there is always hope for the lost person.
The Qur’an refers to people who don’t believe in Mohammed and Allah as “infidels” and has much to say about these people. The following are some passages from the Qur’an describing an infidel. As you read these, you will easily see that Muslims do not worship the same God as Christians do.
Sura 5:17 Infidels are those who declare: God is the Christ, the son of Mary.
Sura 5:73 Infidels are those that say “God is one of three in a Trinity.”
The Bible says through the Old Testament Prophet Isaiah, Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14) The word “Immanuel” means God with us. This Prophecy has come to pass and is well documented in the New Testament. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)
Islam denies the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The following passage from the Qur’an clearly substantiates this. Sura 7:157 That they said, “We killed Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah,” but they killed him not, not crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.
The Bible says in Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
We can quote many passages from the Bible and the Qur’an that are in direct opposition to each other. One is Truth, the other, falsehood. When someone says, “We all worship the same god.” They are terribly misinformed or lying. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
One cannot discern a falsehood unless one knows the Truth. The Bible is the Holy Word of God; the Truth. Jesus Christ is that Word. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14) Let the Word of God be opened once again in America, and the Truth be known to all our people.
The Muslims call us infidels. God calls us His Children! Let the Children of God rise up and speak the Truth of the Word of God boldly, and we will see the Lord move in magnificent ways.
The Truth of God will……..turn the tide
Let the Truth be told! Doreen
