Psalms 91:2 I will say unto the Lord, my refuge and my fortress, my God in Whom I trust.

 

God wants us to trust Him with all our hearts. That means to trust Him in every situation. It’s easy to trust God with some things. I trust God to cause the sun to rise in the east and set in the west. I trust God to cause the weather to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I trust Him to cause the leaves to turn to gold in the Fall and for the flowers to bloom in the Spring.

 

We trust God for things like this, but do we trust Him in our personal lives? Do we trust Him when there is no money in the bank and the bills are due? Do we trust Him when our health is failing and the doctors say there is no hope? Do we trust Him when our children are making foolish decisions? Do we trust Him when our marriage is on the rocks? Do we trust Him when everything is going wrong and our whole world is falling apart and seems to be crashing down around us?

 

Is God able to do anything for us in situations like this? This is when God can perform a Miracle and bring change to a situation. It’s in the hard times that God can do what we cannot do. Nothing is impossible for Him. He wants us to trust Him in every situation no matter how impossible it appears. He can do anything.

 

God wants to do things for us. He is our Heavenly Father and He wants the best for us. He is able to give us the best but He wants us to trust Him. Trusting God is operating in faith in the Finished Work of His Son. Satan wants to destroy us. Jesus went to the Cross of Calvary to defeat the power of Satan.

 

God wants us to live Abundant Lives free from the power of Satan. Jesus suffered and died on the Cross so we can live Abundant Lives. The thief comes but to kill, steal, and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

 

Whatever you are going through today, trust God. Place your faith squarely in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. He defeated ALL the power of the enemy that day. We have the ability to live in Victory over every attack of Satan.

 

Trusting God will…...….turn the tide……..in your life.
