In His Care

Psalm 23:1-3 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul;

The 23rd Psalm is a Passage that is often recited at funerals, but it is really a beautiful Promise of God for the living. It speaks of the Believer's Benefit of Care. Only God can bring this comfort and rest in the time of trouble and strife. Only God can restore a troubled heart to the place of peace and joy.

If you have ever had the opportunity to lie down in the green grass beside a beautiful still pond, you have experienced what the Lord has for you. This is how He wants us to live every day of our lives, and yet we find ourselves rushing around trying to keep up with our hectic schedules.

The Lord is our Good Shepherd. He cares for us more than anyone can. He will provide for us all our needs when we look to Him for provision. His Mighty Hand of Protection never leaves us. Nothing can harm us when we remain in His Care.

We read in 1 Peter 5:6-7, Therefore humble yourselves under the Mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

No one will ever care for you like God cares for you. He created you, loves you, and will forever care for you. When we humble ourselves and give ourselves over into the Mighty Hands of God, we will experience the Blessing and Benefit of His Care. All the money and power in this world cannot buy this Care. We could spend thousands of dollars on maids, servants, cooks, chauffeurs, bodyguards, gardeners, and every other type of domestic help you can think of, but none of these people can care for us like God does.

When you allow the Lord to be your Shepherd, you shall not want. He will cause you to lie down and rest in the beautiful green grass. The sounds of the still pond will engulf your soul. All strife and stress will leave you as you place yourself in His Mighty Hands. Cast all your care upon Him. He cares for you, and He will see you through. Run to Him. Let Him bless you with your Believer's Benefit of His Care.

Placing yourself in His Care will…….turn the tide........in your life.
