Over the years, many congregations have sung a powerful song. A message from the Lord comes forth through this song each and every time it is sung.
That Word is: HOLD ON! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
As singers come forward to share this song, they all have the same message. I believe this is a message for you today.
“Just hold on, our God will show up, and He will take you through the fire again.”
“Just hold on a little longer, help is on the way. A brighter day is coming for those who believe and pray. Help won’t help tomorrow if you give up today, Just hold on a little longer, help is on the way.”
“He’s in the midst of our storm. He’s in the valley we walk through. Where two or three are gathered in His Name, He’ll be there too. When you feel so all alone, He is standing next to you. He’s with us now, our Lord, He’s in the midst.”
Many times, after the singing is over and the song complete, people come forward for prayer and ministry. No matter the situation at hand, the Word of the Lord is always: ENDURE. In other words, hold on. Don’t quit. If we don’t quit, God won’t quit. He will never give up on us. Don’t give up on Him.
