1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
The absolute greatest Benefit in the Pasture of Plenty is the Holy Spirit of God, who is the Power Source of every Benefit and Blessing of God, including Life for the believer. The above Passage of Scripture clearly states that we are made alive by the Spirit. Jesus gave His Perfect Life on the Cross at Calvary, so we (the unjust) may be made alive by the Spirit. That’s pretty awesome!
When the believer permits the Spirit to lead their every thought, word, and action, life is very, very good. This can only be accomplished inside the fence of the Pasture of Plenty. God will never force us to stay inside. The Holy Spirit will prick our conscience when we approach the fence, but He will not prevent us from sticking our heads through and even going out into the world if that’s what we choose to do. This is the free will that God places inside every human being He creates.
The problem I see is that so many Christians don’t understand what is available to them inside the Pasture of Plenty, so they live most of their life with their head through the fence seeking what they need from the outside world, which is controlled by Satan. The answer is to place your faith COMPLETELY in what Jesus accomplished at The Cross and trust Him for everything you come up against in life.
When we allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit, He will always lead us right back to The Cross. There we find the answers and solutions to all our problems. At The Cross we found Salvation. At The Cross, we find Healing. At The Cross, we find Deliverance and Sanctification. At The Cross, we find Provision. At The Cross, we find Protection. At The Cross we find.......... EVERYTHING!
Life at The Cross is abundant. In fact, the Word of God says it is exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, If we REALLY believe this, we will continually go to The Cross for everything and stop sticking our head through the fence, looking to the world for solutions and answers.
Life at The Cross will.......... turn the tide ..........in your life.
At The Cross! Doreen
