Live Your Faith

Acts 17:30-31 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in Righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.

The Call of the Lord has always been to Repentance. The day is coming when God will judge every person in the world for their Righteousness through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross. There is no other way to the Father or to Righteousness.

Ignorance of the Truth is and will be, no excuse. At that time, people will be sincere about their ignorance but their sincerity will be to no avail. God does not listen to excuses. The test will not be about all the good works we have done or the laws we have kept. Neither will the test be about how many Scripture Verses we have memorized or how many days we have fasted from food. None of this will matter if we don’t know Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.

Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6) God has ONE Plan. He will not add to, or take away from, His Plan for any reason. He makes no exceptions or exemptions for anyone. All the crying and pleading will be for naught on that day.

Jesus told a Parable that few Preachers and Teachers share because it hits home. It is recorded in the 12th Chapter of Luke. And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,” and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is ot looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be requires; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:42-48)

You might want to read this Parable again. Which servant are you? Where do you fall in this scenario? When the Master comes back, where will you be and what will you be doing? Will you be beaten or will you be rewarded? This is not based on what you have done. It is based on what you BELIEVE! What do you believe?

Live your faith because the Master is coming to….….turn the tide
