Living Water

John 4:11 The woman said unto Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from where do you get this Living Water?

The Samaritan woman Jesus met at Jacob’s Well was about to be forever changed due to her encounter with the Messiah. As we read the entire account, we understand that not only did Jesus accept her in her current sinful condition, but He also wanted her to come to Salvation through believing in Him. This is what Jesus wants for every human being on earth.

Jesus was at the well when this woman arrived. She could have seen that He was a Jew and turned around and left, but she did not. She walked right up to the well even though He was sitting there.

Jesus is always at the Well of Living Water waiting for the sinner to approach Him. He accepts everyone who comes. No one is rejected. For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) He never turns anyone away or tells them to come back when they change their ways.

People are not capable of changing their ways on their own. If they were, they would have done it long ago. The only means by which a person is truly changed is through their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and their seeking of the Holy Spirit in their life.

Like the woman at the well, we must approach Jesus and meet Him personally. He will tell us of His Living Water, and He will offer it to us. However, we must accept it, knowing and seeking its life-changing properties.

The believer’s Benefit of the Living Water is what brings real change in the life of whosoever chooses to believe. It is real, and it is life-changing; not only for initial Salvation but for the ongoing Sanctification, which is Healing and Deliverance from our sinful ways. The same Living Water that brings Salvation, brings Healing and Deliverance.

If you are tired of living in sin and shame, be counted as one in the “whosoever will” group. Once you understand the Power of the Benefit of the Living Water, you will be the beneficiary of ongoing change in your life as this Water continually bubbles up within you and cleanses you from your sin.

The Living Water will..........turn the tide........in your life.
