Mark 3:25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
Yesterday, we discussed the importance of the Body of Christ coming together in unity. There is nothing more important than this at this time in history. The Church is under fire, literally. The enemy is cutting off the heads of Christians, and the Church is bickering over who is a REAL Christian. I have to tell you, I am repulsed by this!
The Church in America, and around the world today, is divided against itself, and Jesus said, And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. I don’t understand what part of that the church does not get. He did not say a divided house MAY not stand. He said, that house will not be able to stand.
The demonic spirit of division has been at work in the Church since the beginning. Yesterday, we quoted the Passage of Scripture found in 1 Corinthians 1:10, where the great Apostle Paul pleaded with the people to be united. I appeal to you, brothers, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
In Paul’s Letter to the Philippians, he wrote, Only let your conduct be worthy of the Gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel,
I pray for the Church to have one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel. I absolutely believe this is a Word for the Body of Christ today. It is imperative for us to be unified for the Gospel of Christ. The Spirit of Christ must prevail in our hearts as we join together as ONE Body; ONE Army; believers in ONE Christ, the ONE Begotten Son of God who died for us ALL!
The Lord just gave me a vision of a large group of people standing side by side with locked arms, marching forward in lock step. Some were wearing clerical robes, others had on suits and ties, while others were wearing tee shirts or leather jackets. Their clothes did not matter. They were together, marching as a single unified Body, all chanting together in unison: JESUS IS LORD!
I believe with all my heart this is what the Lord is seeking from His Church. Jesus prayed for this. Are you willing to lock arms with a Christian of a different denomination and march together? United we stand. Divided we fall. It’s time to stand united with one another.
Only God can……..turn the tide
Standing with ALL believers, Doreen
