2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Yesterday, I shared with you a revelation the Lord gave to me in regard to not being unequally yoked with unbelievers. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has Righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14) The main focus of what the Holy Spirit revealed to me was the question in the middle of this Verse. For what fellowship has Righteousness with lawlessness?
As I read this, what the Holy Spirit was trying to teach me became very apparent. It hit me like a ton of bricks! As I shared with you yesterday, true born-again believers in Christ Jesus do not willingly and purposefully break the law. Our desire is to please God and this includes living good, lawful lives.
As I continued to pray and meditate on this Passage of Scripture, and how it applied to my life, the Lord then led me to another Passage in 2 Corinthians. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
People who masquerade as ministers (apostles, prophets, preachers, teachers) but also live a dual life of lawlessness, are deceitful workers of iniquity. As the Apostle Paul wrote, they transform themselves into apostles of Christ. Satan and his demons are ministering to these people and they are working for him.
The Word of God tells us that Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. He appears to be wonderful but he comes only to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) Therefore we should not be surprised when these people masquerade as ministers of righteousness. However, their lives are a masquerade. They are not at all what they profess to be. Rather these people are what the Word of God refers to as workers of iniquity. We will delve into this more tomorrow.
For today, remember that God has given us a Spiritual Gift called Discernment of Spirits. (1 Corinthians 12:10) The Apostle John advises us to use this Gift and Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1)
In these Last Days, Satan knows his time is short. He is attacking the Church in every way he can. Be careful. Test every spirit. Seek the Will of God and the Guidance of the Holy Spirit. Meditate on His Word. He will never lead you astray.
The Holy Spirit will……..….turn the tide……….in your life.
Thank you Lord for Revelation. Doreen
