Acts 4:21-22 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. For the man was forty years old, on whom this Miracle of Healing was showed.

 

After bringing Peter and John into court to try them, the Council did nothing but threaten them and let them go. These men had done nothing wrong. What crime is it to pray for a Miracle of Healing over someone? 

 

It is not a crime. It wasn’t a crime then, and it is not a crime now. Does God still perform Miracles of Healing? You bet He does. So, why is it not commonplace to see Miracles of Healing in America today? 

 

The answer to this question is multi-faceted, but the greatest reason is unbelief. People today do not have the faith to believe God heals. It’s not just the people who don’t believe; most preachers, teachers, and pastors don’t believe either. 

 

All faith today for healing is in doctors and pharmaceutical drugs. If people really believed God for healing, they would seek Him for healing and receive their healing. 

 

The field of medicine today is big business. Like every other industry, it’s all about the money. Doctors, surgeons, and other medical professionals are among the highest paid people in America. If they believed God could heal their patients, prayed and ministered healing to them, they wouldn’t make any money. 

 

In my opinion, most doctors don’t want to see their patients healed. They want to keep them coming back for more visits and treatments because it’s money in their pocket. In many cases, when a doctor writes a prescription for a drug, they receive a monetary kickback from the pharmaceutical company. 

 

God does not intend for ministry to be about money and the bottom line. Rather, the bottom line should be all about believing God for everything: Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance. 

 

If Ministers of the Gospel today were more like Peter and John, we would see great Miracles of Healing happening every day all around the world. It takes boldness, courage, and FAITH! If your belief is strong enough, you will act in boldness and courage because you BELIEVE God can do it! This is what will change the motivation and the bottom line in the Church.

 

Faith in God Almighty is not a crime in America. Strong faith brings about boldness and courage on the part of the believer. Faith, boldness, and courage result in great Miracles of God. It all starts with Faith. Without it, there is nothing. All God wants is for us to believe in Him. That's the bottom line.

 

Faith in Jesus will........ turn the tide ........in your life.
