John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the Only Begotten on the Father,) full of Grace and Truth.

Yesterday, we discussed an extremely important aspect of God’s Divine Order for His Universe. That being that, the Divine Order of God demands our strict obedience to Him, which is continual Praise, Worship, and Exaltation of His Name.

On our own, we cannot do this. In the natural, we are not able. However, when we remain in the Spirit of God, we are able! This is a daily commitment. No, this is an hour-by-hour commitment. No, this is a minute-by-minute commitment. No, actually, this is a moment-by-moment decision to WANT to serve God and live a life in total and complete obedience to Him. The first step is to WANT TO be obedient to God and please Him.

God created the sun to shine, and it has no choice but to do so. When God tells the wind to blow, it obeys. When God commands the rain to fall, it falls. When God instructs a star to fall from the sky, it falls.  When God says it's time for the leaves on the trees to turn color, they turn. The entire Universe belongs to God; created by Him, in His Divine Order, for His Divine Purpose. Nothing has anything to say about that, PERIOD!

God did not give all these elements of His Universe the ability to choose obedience to their Creator. However, He DID give human beings and angelic beings something called "free will." This is the ability to choose to be obedient or disobedient to their Creator.

God knows we cannot keep His Commandments on our own. He knows we are weak and sinful.  He understands that we fail every day. Why would God ask us to do something He knows we cannot do?  Why would He put in place a Divine Order and then create beings that are unable to conform to His Order?

The answer to that question lies in His Redemption Plan for all of mankind. God wants us to depend on Him, not on ourselves, other people, money, power, or anything else. He has always had in place a Plan for people to live within His Divine Order for His Universe. It's called God's Redemption Plan. The ONLY way people can walk in obedience is to be Redeemed by Him.

God's Plan has always consisted of a Blood Sacrifice for the Redemption of sin. In Old Testament times, the people brought animals to be sacrificed for their sins. Then, when the time was right, God made a huge change. He changed the Sacrifice of His Redemption Plan for mankind. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. (Galatians 4:4-5)

That change in His Plan takes us right back to the First Chapter of the Book of John and the Person of the Word of God. In John 1:14, we read, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the Only Begotten on the Father,) full of Grace and Truth.

There is nothing more powerful than God’s Divine Order for His Universe. He has set this Order in place. His Order demands obedience. His Plan and Order will prevail over all. Every person must make the decision to accept His Plan or reject it. Either way, God is God, and He always will be God. Nothing will ever change that.

God’s Divine Order will........turn the tide

Lord, keep me close,      Doreen
