2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all Grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

 

We have now spent three days on this most powerful Passage of Scripture, and we have uncovered some tremendous Benefits in the Believer’s Benefit Package. First, we found that God is able. Nothing is too big or difficult for God. Whatever it is, God can do it or solve it. 

 

Yesterday, we discussed the Benefit of Grace that brings with it all sufficiency in all things at all times. We also posed this question: Why do believers operate in a state of insufficiency when the Word of God says we will have all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.?

 

The key that unlocks the door to receiving this Grace and Sufficiency is our belief. If we believe God can do it, He will. God wants us to trust Him with every need and situation that arises in our lives. From the greatest to the smallest, God wants us to believe in Him and trust that He is able. More importantly, God wants us to believe that He WANTS to help us and provide for us. 

 

However, the second part of the answer to the question is found in the last phrase of the Scripture. you may abound in every good work. The keywords here are, every good work. God WILL NOT provide for anything sinful or outside His Will. God does not support the work of Satan. He never has, and He never will. It doesn't matter how much we want it, how much we pray for it, or how much we think we need it; God does not provide for anything that is not His Plan or does not bring Glory to Him.

 

 Jesus commanded believers to, Seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, then, all these things shall be added unto you. These are the Words of Jesus in Matthew 633. When we seek the Will of God and His Plan for our lives, THEN He will make all Grace abound to us, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, we may abound in every good work. 

 

If you have been seeking something from God for a long time and not seeing any results, you might want to pray and ask the Lord to reveal to you your true motivation. What is it that you are truly seeking? Who will be glorified through your plan? Be honest. What is the REAL purpose?

 

When we get our heart right and seek to see the Kingdom of God increased, lift up the Righteousness of God and bring all Glory and Honor to Him and Him alone, THEN we will see God move on our behalf and make all Grace abound to us, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, we may abound in every good work. 

 

 

 God is more than able to…....... turn the tide .........in your life.
