2 Corinthians 11:14 Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

 

Satan is the great deceiver. We are warned of his evil works throughout the Bible. He can appear as something very good but he is evil through and through. This is why we must have the Spiritual Gift of Discernment of Spirits.

 

In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul wrote For such are false apostles deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

 

Please note the key words in the above Passage of Scripture: false apostles; deceitful workers; angel of light; false ministers of righteousness. This describes the work of Satan who comes only to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10)

 

Just as God uses people in His Ministry, Satan does as well. Every person who stands behind the pulpit of a church is not a true minister of the Gospel of Christ. Many today are false apostles, false prophets, and false teachers. There are thousands of them out there today.

 

These people look like the world, sound like the world, and live like the world. They speak with smooth speech that seduces people into their churches. Just as it has been for centuries, these folks seek money, power, and position. They are not true ministers of the Gospel of Christ.

 

In these last of the Last Days, we must be very careful about whose ministry we sit under. Satan is tricky. He will appear good but there is nothing good about him. James, Paul, and Jesus all warned us to not be deceived. (Luke 21:8; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Corinthians 15:33; Galatians 6:7; James 1:16)

 

Read the Word of God for yourself. If what you are hearing from behind the pulpit of your church does not align with the Word of God, run! Get out from under the false teaching of a false apostle or false prophet. Remember and heed the warnings found in the Bible. Do not be deceived.

 

God wants to……….turn the tide……….in your life.
